Erect annual with puberulend and reflexedor spreading-setose stems, 15-60 cm. Leaves! linear, lower sometimes lyrate, entire or sometimes dentate. Peduncles eglandular, hispid towards top. Involucral bracts 12-15, lanceolate, long strigose especially on margin. Capitula 1-5-3 cm.diam. Corolla bluish-violet. Calyx with 8-10 setae. Fl. May-June. Fields, slopes, s.l.
Endemic for North Anatolia.
