Bulbous perennial herbs. Stem erect, up to 25 cm. Leaves filiform, fistulose, shorter than stem. Spathe membranous, 2-valved; valves ovate, acute. Umbel globose, up to 2 cm diameter. Pedicel unequal, shorter than perianth. Perianth cylindrical-campanulate; segments mauve or purple. Fruit a subglobose capsule. Fl. May. Roadsides, near sen, under Eucalyptus tin's.
Endemic for South Anatolia.
