L 33-39 cm, WS 85-93 cm.
A pale owl with characteristic heart-shaped face and black eyes. Its general appearence is pale and uniform in colour.

Habitat:It nests in hollow spaces in outhouses, hollow trees. Barn Owl feeds on smaller rodents, small birds.
