L 24-25 cm.
Adult male is black bird with orange-yellow bill. Female and immatures are dark brown and their bill is blackish.

Habitat:It is a common bird of woodlands, scrubs, gardens and parks. It breeds in all types of woodlands and feeds on worms, snails and insects.
