L 15cm.
It is smaller than skylark with longer wings and tail. It has black and white mark on leading edge of wing. Its tail has white tip and dark outer feathers.

Habitat:It occurs in woodlands, hillsides, on alpine meadows. It nests on ground and feeds on insects and seeds.
