L 25-27 cm, WS 70-77 cm.
In flight it has white leading edge and black rear border to primaries. Its head is white with dark mark around eye and on ear coverts in Summer. Its bill and legs are red.

 

Habitat:Black-headed Gull is common at freshwaters, seashores. It breeds colonially in large numbers at reedy lakes, on islands and all kinds of small aquatic animal.
