L 40-45 cm, WS 80-86 cm.
Oystercatcher is large black and white shore bird with long orange bill and pink legs. Its neck is short. In flight it has white wing-bar. Its throat is black in summer.

Habitat:It occurs at margins of lakes and rivers, mainly coastal habitat and nests on ground in open.
