L 16-18 cm.
Crested Lark is like Skylark but with longer and erect crest. Its wings are short and broad and bill is powerful and greyer than Skylark's, its shape and size can vary. It has a short tail with brown coloured sides.

Habitat:It is common in cultivated, generally flat, grassy country. It nests on ground and feeds on injects and seeds.
