L 21-23 cm, WS 50-56 cm.
It often flies by night, partly diurnal habits. Its body is grey-brown and has a short tail. It flies in deep undulations in glide.

Habitat:Little Owl occurs in open, usually cultivated areas, often near gardens. It feeds on rodents, insects and small birds.
