L 20-22 cm, WS 54-60 cm.
A large swift has white underparts with brown breast-band.
Its flight is fast and strong. Its wing beats are slow.

Habitat:Alpine Swift is common usually in mountainous disricts and also in alpine regions. It nests in rocks and taller buildings. It feeds on insects.
