L 13cm.
It has buff or grey-white supercilium, dark stripe through eye and dark crown, lightly streaked mantle. Its wings are pale, rusty-buff and its rump is red-brown.

Habitat: It occurs in shore vegetation, in reeds and feeds mainly on insects.
