Peduncle as long as the leaf or shorter, 3-40-flowered. Calyx strongly gibbous, up to 8 mm. Petals free at base, violet -blue or - blue, up to 22 mm. Legumes oblong or oblong-rhomboid, up to 3 x l cm, pubescent. Fl. March-July. Pinus forest, macchie, hedges, banks, fields, nr. Water.
