Fleshy glabrous perennial with rhizomatous rootstock. Stem erect, simple, up to 50 cm. Basal leaves orbicular-peltate; upper leaves linear, small. Inflorescence racemose, simple or branched at base. Flowers spreading, horizontally or drooping. Calyx up to 1,5 mm. Petals united, greenish-white, up to 7 mm. Fruit a group of follicles. Potential ornamental for rock gardens. Fl. April-May. Grassy hanks, limestone rock crives, tree trunks.
