Semi-evergreen shrubs. Stems scrambling, up to 6 m. Leaves alternate, elliptic to ovate, untooted, short-stalked. Flowers salver-shaped, sky blue, up to 22 mm, with a long slender tube, borne in congested racemes that slowly elongate. Fruit dry, 1 -seeded. Fl. June-August. Gardens.

Native of Tropics.
