Annual herbs. Stems slender, up to 35 cm. Leaves alternate, linear, 1-1,5 cm. Cyme delicate, lax, flowers shortly pedicellate. Sepals ovate. Petals free, yellow, up to 3-5 cm. Fruit a capsule, 2 mm. Fl. April-June. Scrub and open grassy places.
