Fumana arabica var. arabica(ARABIAN FUMANA) (San laden) (Arabisches Nadelröschen) Cistaceae Much-branched, dwarf shrubs, with prostrate or ascending stems to 25 cm. Leaves all alternate, green, stipulate, oblong-elliptic, almost hairless to glandular-hairy, equally spaced along the stem. Inflorescence lax, 3-6 -flowered. Petals free, yellow, up to 18 mm. Fruit a loculicidal capsule. Seeds 8-12 per capsule. Fl. March-June. Limestone and chalk hills in macchie, qarique and pine forests. Türkiye, Italy, Balkans, N.
