Epilobium parviflorum (Yakýotu) (Weidenröschen) Onagraceae Erect herbaceous perennial. Stem branched, up to 100 cm, long-villous. At least the lower leaves opposite, upper usually alternate, narrowly lanceolate to lanceolate, up to 6 x 2 cm. Petals free, pink, up to 8 mm. Fruit a cylindrical capsule, up to 7 cm; seed obovoid, papillose. FI. May September. Stream and lake sides, damp places. Throughout Europe, N. Africa and Asia. |
