Biennial herbs. Stem erect, robust, dense white or yellowish bristles. Basal leaves linear to narrowly oblong; cauline smaller. Inflorescence usually pyramidal. Calyx up to 8 mm in flower. Corolla infundibular, pale blue, lilac, pinkish or whitish, up to 9,5 mm. Nutlets oblong, rugose-tuberculate. Fl. May-August. Limestone slopes, fields, disturbed ground, etc., s.l.
