Perennial herbs, up to 50 cm. Leaves opposite, up to 13 x 2,5 mm, green or glaucous. Flowers solitary or in groups of 2-7, pedicels 1 -30 mm. Bracteoles 8-20, shorter than calyx, inner ovate to broadly ovate, outer narrowly ovate to linear. Calyx up to 28 mm, cylindrical. Petal long-clawed, limb 9-18 mm, pink, often darker spotted, deeply dentate. Fruit a capsule. Potential ornamental. Fl. August- October. Cliffs and rocky places, usually limestone.

Endemic for South-West Anatolia.
