Erect or decumbent annual, up to 7 cm. Leaves alternate, spathulate, up to 1,5 x 0,8 cm. Capitula on 2-7 mm peduncles. Involucre 3-4 mm broad; phyllaries I -2-seriate, lanceolate. Flowering-head white with a yellow disc. Ray flowers up to 30; ligules 4-5 mm. Disc corollas 1-5 mm. Achenes obovate, compressed. Fl. February-May. Damp places at edges of fields and waste ground, s.l.
