Petals free, numerous, (sometimes considered to be petaloid staminodes), bright pink. Stamens numerous. Anthers yellow. Ovary inferior. Fruit fleshy. Ideal plant for garden cover. Fl. June-August. Rocks, Cliffs.
Native of South Africa, West Indies, Florida, South western North America, South America and Australia.
