Showy bulbous perennial herbs. Stem semierect, up to 50 cm. Leaves linear, glaucous, long. Scape equalling or shorter than leaves. Inflorescence a terminal umbel. Flowers white or red, infundibular, fragrant, up to 10 cm. Fruit a capsule. Fl. May-June. Gardens.
Native of South Africa.
